ROB PEARLSTEIN

Rob is currently writing his original feature comedy True North for Warner Brothers with Imagine producing and Ed Helms to star, and a comedy pilot for NBC with Teri Weinberg and John Legend producing. He’ll direct his comedy feature Someone Marry Barry in 2012 with Suzanne Todd producing. His writing/directing debut, Our Time Is Up, received an Oscar Nomination for Best Live Action Short Film. Rob has written screenplays for Universal, Spyglass, Focus Features and Working Title as well as TV pilots for NBC, USA, FOX, ABC, CBS and CW, for producers including Imagine, Lorne Michaels and Jerry Bruckheimer. He wrote for the series Medium and The Inside and wrote, directed and performed in the Atom/Comedy Central web series Matumbo Goldberg. Rob also directs commercials through Go Film and has directed spots and branded entertainment for Samsung, Twix and the USA Network. Previously, he wrote TV spots and print ads for agencies like TBWA Chiat/Day, Fallon, BBDO, Deutsch and MTV.
